#Nia is a Birmingham born - London based singer and producer, weaving soulful melodies with journalistic lyricism. NIA fuses jazz, hip hop and electro influences with a rich, soothing vocal intertwined with elements of #spokenword.
#GriftonForbesAmos is a London based trumpeter/composer, heavily influenced by bands/artist like #RoyHargrove, #MarquisHill, #ChristianScott, #FreddieHubbard and that played with some of the most interesting names of the music scene like #BlueLabBeats.
The #EnemiesofTurin are a completely improvised band, so each time they perform will always be completely different. As a band, it’s all about listening and really being in the moment. The five diverse musicians have performed with each other in different formations.
#SuedeJazzCollective is an unrelenting force in the UK jazz scene, forging their identity through Ghanaian gospel, Samba and Jazz Rap - collaborating with musicians from Togo and Hong Kong all the way to Brazil.
#DoctorGosso is a London based band built on the mutual passion for classic jazz, boom-bap, and the Beat Generation poetry. Since 2018 the duo has been collaborating with other like-minded artists and musicians, becoming an active part of the blooming London jazz scene.
#Jazzbois is a jazz-hiphop fusion trio from Budapest, Hungary. Their debut album "Jazzbois Goes Blunt" had a strong impact on both the jazz and hip-hop scene, creating a unique psychedelic flavored fusion that shacked the bones of jazz masters and beat lovers alike.
#DonovanHaffner is an alto saxophonist who has played with a multitude of professional musicians including the big contemporary names such as #MosesBoyd, #KamaalWilliams, and #JayPhelps and play London gigs at #RonnieScotts as well as appearing at festivals including #Glastonbury and Love Supreme.
#MiryamSolomon A London-based artist, by way of Sweden and Eritrea, her work is underpinned by her love for rhythms, vocal interplay and storytelling, and has been championed by the likes of #JamieCullum and Hannah Peel. She’s performed on stages such as Barbican, Iceland airwaves, Glastonbury, recorded at #BBC Maida Vale, and released music on Blue Note Records with Matters Unknown.
#TUCAN, the Jazz-Fusion collective are navigating through the journey which is the exponentially growing UK Jazz scene. Their sound is the musical representation of community and togetherness, with members of the band spread out all over the UK and all over the world, drawing inspiration from the likes of Snarky Puppy, Robert Glasper and Ashley Henry.
Over the past few years #LastNubian (real name Tre Wright) has been quietly making a name for himself with his unique explorations into the worlds of house, brokenbeat and now recently the live performances.
